Role Overview:

As an Associate DevOps Engineer on our Pipeline team, you will support the development
and automation of our build and delivery pipelines. You will implement Python-based
automation scripts, assist with containerization processes, and help maintain our Google
Cloud Build integrations. Your role is vital in ensuring the efficiency and security of our
CI/CD pipelines for our secure container platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Python automation scripts for build pipelines
• Support containerization processes and workflows
• Assist with implementing declarative build configurations
• Help integrate with Google Cloud Build for CI/CD operations
• Contribute to security validation in the build process
• Support monitoring and troubleshooting of pipeline issues
• Assist with pipeline optimization and improvements
• Help document pipeline configurations and workflows
• Collaborate with Package Build and Infrastructure teams
• Learn advanced pipeline automation techniques

Required Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in DevOps, software development, or related fields
• Basic Python programming skills with a focus on automation
• Familiarity with containerization technologies
• Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git
• Knowledge of Linux command line operations
• Willingness to learn declarative build systems
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Google Cloud Build or similar CI/CD platforms
• Familiarity with container build processes
