Role Overview:
As an Associate DevSecOps Engineer on our Build Maintenance team, you will support the
ongoing maintenance and improvement of build systems for existing CleanStart container
images. You will assist in implementing updates, help monitor build processes, and
contribute to the reliability of our build infrastructure. Your role is important in ensuring our
container images remain secure, up-to-date, and built efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining and updating build pipelines
- Support the implementation of security patches and updates
- Help monitor build system health and performance
- Contribute to build scripts and configuration updates
- Assist with testing rebuilt container images
- Document build maintenance procedures and changes
- Support troubleshooting of build issues
- Help implement improvements to build processes
- Learn and apply best practices for build maintenance
- Collaborate with team members on efficiency improvements
Required Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or related fields
- Basic knowledge of container build technologies and CI/CD systems
- Familiarity with Linux systems and scripting
- Understanding of version control and change management
- Interest in automation and infrastructure maintenance
- Good documentation and communication skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Eagerness to learn and grow in secure DevOps
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools
- Familiarity with containerization technologies
- Basic understanding of security updates and patching
- Knowledge of monitoring and alerting systems
- Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)
- Background in system administration or support
- Interest in build optimization and performance
