Role Overview:
As an Associate DevSecOps Engineer on our Build team, you will support the
implementation of build processes for new CleanStart container images. You will assist in
creating and maintaining build pipelines, help automate build workflows, and contribute to
the validation of build outputs. Your role is important in ensuring our container images are
built consistently, securely, and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing build pipelines for container images
- Support the automation of build processes and workflows
- Help maintain build infrastructure and environments
- Contribute to build scripts and configuration files
- Assist with testing and validation of build outputs
- Document build processes and procedures
- Support implementation of security controls in build pipelines
- Help troubleshoot build failures and issues
- Learn and apply secure build practices
- Collaborate with team members on continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or related fields
- Basic knowledge of container build technologies (Docker, etc.)
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools
- Understanding of scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.)
- Interest in automation and infrastructure as code
- Good documentation and communication skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Eagerness to learn and grow in secure DevOps
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or other CI systems
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, etc.)
- Basic understanding of software supply chain security
- Knowledge of container security concepts
- Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)
- Background in software development or system administration
- Interest in security and secure coding practices
- Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative development
