The Role, In A Nutshell 

We're seeking highly motivated Account Executives for our key markets (New York, San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, and Austin) who thrive on building relationships with security and development leaders. The ideal candidate will help prospects understand how CleanStart's secure image platform can eliminate the security burden in their containerized and virtualized environments. You'll be joining a high-growth team where your impact will be immediately visible as we expand our market presence. 

What You'll Do 

  • Define and execute territory-specific sales strategies to drive adoption of CleanStart solutions 
  • Articulate CleanStart's unique value proposition and differentiators (VM + container support, private repositories, FIPS compliance) to technical decision-makers 
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets 
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through both inbound leads and targeted outbound prospecting 
  • Track and manage opportunities through CRM with accurate forecasting and pipeline management 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success to ensure successful customer outcomes 
  • Develop in-depth understanding of competitive offerings and effectively position CleanStart's advantages 
  • Identify and pursue expansion opportunities within existing accounts 

What We're Looking For 

  • 5+ years of Enterprise Sales experience required 
  • Must be located in one of our key markets: New York, San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, or Austin 
  • He/She should have good knowledge and understanding of Container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes), cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), DevSecOps, security compliance or Cloud Security  
  • Demonstrated history of consistently exceeding sales targets and growing territory revenue 
  • Understanding of technical security and compliance challenges in regulated industries 
  • Experience selling to security leaders, DevOps teams, and/or compliance stakeholders 
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly 
  • Strong business acumen with ability to connect security challenges to business outcomes 
  • Willingness to travel to support customer relationships as needed (up to 30%) 
  • Resourceful, entrepreneurial mindset with ability to operate effectively in a fast-growing environment 

Desired Qualifications 

  • Experience selling security, compliance, or container/VM solutions 
  • Background in startup environments with experience in early-stage sales 
  • Experience selling to government, financial services, or healthcare industries 
  • Understanding of FIPS, SOC2, ISO 27001, or other compliance frameworks 
  • Proven track record building a territory from the ground up 
  • Experience with consultative, value-based selling approaches 
  • Background with both inbound and outbound sales motions
