Role Overview:
As a Senior Delivery Engineer for Community, you will lead our engagement with the
open-source community and drive the adoption of Triam's security solutions in
open-source projects. You will develop integration strategies, contribute to opensource initiatives, and build relationships with community stakeholders. Your work
will expand the reach of our security tools and establish Triam as a trusted partner
in the open-source ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the integration of Triam security solutions into open-source projects
- Develop and maintain relationships with open-source communities and
maintainers
- Create technical content, examples, and documentation for community
adoption
- Contribute code and improvements to relevant open-source projects
- Represent Triam at community events, conferences, and forums
- Design and implement community support programs for our tools
- Gather feedback from the community to improve our products
- Collaborate with product teams to ensure compatibility with open-source
workflows
- Mentor junior community engineers and foster community engagement
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering or DevOps roles
- Strong knowledge of open-source ecosystems and collaboration models
- Experience contributing to or maintaining open-source projects
- Proficiency in container technologies and related tools
- Strong coding abilities in multiple languages
- Excellent communication and community engagement skills
- Understanding of software supply chain security concepts
- Experience with GitHub workflows and collaboration tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Recognized contributions to major open source projects
- Experience with container security or vulnerability management
- Knowledge of software attestation or supply chain security tools
- Public speaking or technical writing experience
- Background in developer advocacy or community management
- Understanding of different open source governance models
- Experience building and nurturing technical communities
