Role Overview:

As the Senior Manager/Director of our Container Technology Team, you will provide
strategic leadership and technical direction for our container image design and
build operations. You will lead multiple teams responsible for creating and
maintaining our CleanStart container images, establish engineering best practices,
and drive innovation in container security. Your leadership will be crucial in scaling
our engineering capabilities and delivering industry-leading secure container
solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage engineering teams responsible for container image design
  and building
• Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for our CleanStart container
  portfolio
• Establish engineering standards, best practices, and security processes
• Drive innovation in container security, minimization, and supply chain
  integrity
• Build and mentor high-performing engineering teams
• Collaborate with Product, Security, and Customer Success teams
• Oversee the development of new container image offerings
• Ensure operational excellence in container build and maintenance
  processes
• Represent the engineering organization in customer and partner
  engagements
• Develop and manage budgets, resources, and capacity planning

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of engineering experience, with 3+ years in leadership roles
• Strong technical background in container technologies and DevSecOps
• Experience leading and growing engineering teams
• Deep understanding of software supply chain security concepts
• Track record of delivering enterprise-grade security solutions
• Strong knowledge of secure software development practices
• Experience with cloud platforms and infrastructure
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with container security or hardening techniques
• Knowledge of SLSA, SBOM, or other supply chain security frameworks
• Background in vulnerability management or security engineering
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform
• Understanding of compliance frameworks (FIPS, NIST, FedRAMP)
• Track record of innovation in security or container technologies
• Experience with open-source community engagement
• MBA or advanced technical degree
